What is Peer Mentoring?

Peer mentoring helps new students settle into university life by enabling small groups to meet up with a mentor on a flexible basis to address basic concerns about student life and learn from the experiences of an already established student.

Who can be a Peer Mentor?

Any 2nd and 3rd years in your department can apply to be a peer mentor, provided they have the passion and commitment for the role.

When does Peer Mentoring begin?

Peer mentoring is already established in some departments. However, for departments which are yet to incorporate peer mentoring, it will take around a year before the schemes officially run.
