SAILS Workshop on Sharing Academic Good Practice on Making Reasonable Adjustments for Disabled Students
September 21 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Do you teach? Have you made changes to your teaching, assessment and/or resources for students with disabilities?
Come to a SAILS workshop to share your experience with other academic staff and enjoy a free lunch.
We will be looking at adjustments to:
- Assessment methods
- Learning delivery
- Learning resources
The session will provide an opportunity for you to network with other colleagues from across the University and learn from their experience before the next academic year starts.
SAILS will summarise the session to produce good practice examples that will be made available to all staff. These examples will complement the generic resources for staff on the impact of different disabilities for students’ learning, available on the SAILS web pages.
Lunch will be provided and will include vegetarian options and gluten free options. If you have other special dietary requirements or access requirements, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss the options.
Please note that this workshop will be held on Singleton Campus but will be repeated on the Bay Campus during Semester 1.
