SAILS 2019 conference: An inclusive experience for disabled students in higher education?

SAILS conference 2019: “An inclusive experience for disabled students in higher education? Sharing good practice in inclusive teaching, learning, assessment, and academic and pastoral support, for students with disabilities.”
The conference is free for staff and students of Swansea University and for staff and officers of the Swansea Students’ Union.
External delegate ticket cost: £50
The Conference will in particular be of value to staff who teach and professional services staff who support students with disabilities.
Confirmed keynote presenters include:
• Paddy Turner, Director, NADP, the Professional Association for disability and inclusivity practitioners in further and higher education
• Dr Suanne Gibson, Associate Professor and Associate Director Teaching and Learning, Plymouth University, Institute of Education
There will also be a range of workshops, lightning talks and posters on offer providing practical examples of an inclusive experience for students with disabilities.

Delegates may choose what to attend on the day. Please note that some sessions will have limited capacity so spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
A delegate list and presentation slides will be emailed to registered delegates after the conference.
